City Park

KEEP OUR PARK BEAUTIFUL

The Hallsville City Park was begun in the 1960’s by a group of volunteers and was managed by a Park Board.  Donations and volunteer hours were the foundation for this recreation area that has served the citizens of Hallsville for decades.  Over the years, many improvements and additions have been made to the park.  It is now under the management and supervision of the City of Hallsville.

The City Park encompasses an entire city block near the center of town and is available for use by the public daily.  The park has lighting for activities after dark. The park is used regularly for birthday parties, school events, family reunions, and numerous community events such as Western Days, fund raisers and community mixers.

Amenities available at the City Park include:

—Four covered pavilions, two with electricity available
You can reserve the pavilions by filling out the form under the City Secretary page.

The mission of the Hallsville Park Project is to improve, update, and enhance the Hallsville City Park to meet the needs of the community.
