Hallsville Independent School District
Hallsville Independent School District is located in the western part of Harrison County some seven miles east of Longview and thirteen miles west of Marshall on U.S. Hwy. 80. It covers approximately 188 square miles and is inhabited by more than 13,050 persons. Approximately 4,260 students receive educational services from 350 professional educators who work to meet the needs of each child. A total of approximately 750 employees including support staff, bus drivers, food service personnel and maintenance crews work to meet this goal.
Hallsville ISD received an ”Exemplary” Rating from the Texas Education Agency for the 2009-2010 school year and every Campus in Hallsville ISD was rated ”Exemplary!”

Facilities on the six campuses of the Hallsville School District are among the finest in the area. All buildings are climate controlled with carpeted classrooms, good lighting and comfortable furnishings. We also have a fiber optic network connecting all offices, classrooms, and campuses. Classrooms are equiped so that every teacher has his/her own e-mail account, voice mail account and telephone extension to improve communications with parents and our community.
